Mother’s Pride (1985)

Sound track music is repetitive and boring, but Kim Carson is naughty and hot as the daughter of a trashy–very trashy–mother. Kim is is determined to show that she is better than mom at everything–including servicing mom’s multiple boyfriends, singly or in group settings. The out-takes at the end are as good as anything in the film. Carson has a sense of humor and shows it by doing sound effects with a vibrator. There is a reason that the producer was giving it away for shipping and handling as a teaser. It won’t every be a classic, but it is worth renting, and it has a first performance by a surprise performer who doesn’t do much in this film but who went on to make a number of others.

A Danish production of the early 1970s, the film clearly illustrates that Europeans are in no way more “civilized” than garbage-minded Americans. While European soft-core has a reputation for high-gloss and soft-focus, The Blue Balloon proves that Euro-XXX can be as grimy and hard-hitting as our own backstreet variety.
A young couple is seen in a passionate embrace in the middle of a field; they are obviously in love. We learn quickly, however, that they are about to be separated: the young bride (they were recently married) weeps convincingly as her hubby boards a waiting bus. A nefarious looking dyke, obviously a pander who picks up defenseless chicks at the local bus station, approaches the girl, however. She slips the girl a Mickey and spirits her away in a sports car to what appears to be the interior of a garage – with a bed in it. So begins the girl’s nightmarish decent into a life of degradation and prostitution.

Loves of Lolita(1984)
Angel West as Lolita fits the bill: she looks underage, and untalented filmmaker Leonard Kirtman as “Leon Gucci” exploits that fact. Despite the big opening disclaimer that the cast is the proper age, this is all about feeding the pederast segment of the adult market.
Lolita’s misadventures including humping with a Tim Curry lookalike named Jimmy (attention: RH fans); having a lesbian dalliance with best buddy Karen Summer; experimenting with two guys at once, and doing plenty of spying on other folks. Zebedy Colt receives a film editor credit, but none of his interesting if weird antics are present.
Film technique is absent, especially in a dimly lit sequence which wastes the talents of Kristara Barrington, credited as China Lee. Kirtman did a spotlight film on her INSIDE CHINA LEE which was a whole lot better than this junker. Crystal Breeze, credited here as Crystal Blue, is also poorly photographed, wasting one of porn’s prettiest starlets.
As far as title roler Angel West, she made a career catering to underage fantasies, even accompanying the later-officially underage Traci Lords in JEAN GENIE, a film I enjoyed back when it was new but which is undoubtedly lost thanks to its illegality.
